The InterClean Red Wolf Portable Wheel Wash system is ideally suited to large construction sites. It is good practice (and often mandatory) to wash vehicles before they exit construction sites and enter public roadways.
The InterClean Red Wolf operates with a containerised plant room that contains all plant, equipment and its water recycling unit. The Red Wolf quickly and efficiently washes the wheels, sides and under-chassis's of all vehicles that drive through it.
Vehicles enter the wash bay by driving up a ramp and slowly drive through and down the ramp on the other side. The wash automatically engages when the vehicle breaks the photo-cell barrier at the entry way to the wash. The vehicle wash stops operating in a similar fashion as the vehicle exits.
The entry and exit ramps to the InterClean Red Wolf are ridged to create a vibration effect as the vehicle drives over them. On entry this is designed to dislodge any large clumps of mud or dirt prior to the wash process. On exit this vibration effect aid the drip drying of the vehicle.
All sludge and wastewater that runs off the vehicle during the washing process is collected in a shallow pit at the base of the Red Wolf and pumped out of the unit into a larger pit or tank or receptacle.
The InterClean Red Wolf is a truly portable wash unit as witnessed by the bottom left picture (series of pictures to the right) where it is viewed dismantled and in transit. All plant and equipment is similarly mobile as it is housed in a shipping container.
